20 may seem insignificant to some but to others it’s a pretty big deal. You are officially not a teenager!! But 20 is especially special for Dominique and Moesha. Their relationship is what I call a true friendship. Moesha (girl in pink) wanted to do something nice for her friend who had moved to Atlanta from Jamaica a couple of years ago. When Dominique first got here, she didn’t know too many people and spent her 1st birthday in the states without her friends and family. Moesha didn’t want this to happen a second year. So she called me up to schedule a surprise birthday photo shoot for her friend! What a friend, indeed! This shoot was awkward at first (due to the surprise aspect) and then a lot of fun! I’m glad I was able to see pure kindness from one human being to another. I hope both girls enjoyed themselves. They will always have these photos to remember this special day! Every birthday is significant because it’s a blessing from God. So no matter what you may be going through on or around the time of your birthday, remember there is always someone or something in your corner, rooting you on. Another year, another month, another week, another day, another second to make a difference in your life and in others. Let everyday be a happy birthday!
